Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did for the current SC scrapbook sketch. Such a simple, yet fun sketch.

Here's the sketch:

Here are some close-ups:

For this lo, I used the February Studio Calico scrapbook kit for the background paper, and the February project life kit, for the square under the pic. I cut four of the PL cards, and then sewed them together to make the square with the colors I wanted.

I cut the stars out of pp that came in the scrapbook kit.
The wonderful colored dots are also from the scrapping kit.
I colored the background with watercolors to match all the pretty stuff in the kits.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Journaling Prep

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share some journaling with you. I love to prep my pages using the Holidays as a starting point, and then coloring/painting images to go with them. With Valentine's day just hours away, I thought I'd share the page I did to prep for it.

I painted a heart, and then decided to sew the letters "love" on it. I then adhered it to my page with pretty gold washi tape.  I have found this to be a great way to start a page, and get myself motivated to keep track of events that are coming up.

Here is how I prepped for New years Eve and then Christmas. I hope this inspires you to do the same:

Yup, New years is always a little bubbly so of course I drew and painted a glass of, and so fitting for our New Years toast!

The next pic is of a Christmas tree, that I painted...what else but a Christmas tree for Christmas!
We always go tag a tree, and then cut it down a couple months later, so this is perfect for my planner book.

Hope you've enjoyed your visit! Thank you for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

I'm putting together my first December Daily, and this is my first page.
If you would like to play along, simply use anything, or as many things, from the following mood board. Draw anything that comes to your mind, and use that inspiration if you'd like:

Here is a close-up of my page:

Enjoy those fabulous memories, that you're making, and show them to us!

Journal pages!

Hi everyone! Yup, it's been a while since my last post....been soooooooooooooo busy! Thought I'd pop in and post some journal pages that I've put together. Simple, and fun...hope you enjoy!

For the  first, I used some recycled items along with a fun stencil and stamp....carefree!
For the next, I used some inks, water colors, stencil, stamp, and wrote with acrylic paint.

The next one was super easy and quick...these days, with my busy schedule, these are the type I like to put together when I have the art itch, yet no time,!

The next one, I worked on over several days....a little bit here and a little bit there:

 Hope you've enjoyed.
Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Paperdvizhnik lettering challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share the latest Paperdvizhnik lettering challenge. For this challenge you can do any work: Page, notepad, postcard, art...using lettering. You can come up with your own lettering or use ready-made. Digital scrapbook is allowed.
The challenge:
For me, I used stenciling lettering in the background and very loose lettering around the circle.

This lo shows hubby sticking his tongue out at me, as he's painting pottery.....I deserved it...we came across a pottery place and I talked him into doing pottery with me, and then took a photo of him as he was painting it.
I hope you'll join in...can't wait to see what you come up with.
As always, thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Sodalicious sketch challenge

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a lo that I did for the latest Sodalicious sketch challenge.
Love their challenges, and had some time to play this afternoon, so I put this lo together about my time running on the tread mill at my gym.

The sketch:

Some close-ups:

This is a close-up showing the tread mill, that I spend a lot of hours! Below, I used some Soda papers and tape, all to signify miles walked.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
